Golden Star
Golden Star is a newspaper in Golden, British Columbia, Canada covering local news, sports, business, jobs, and community events.
The Star traces its roots to 1891 to the founding of The Golden Era by an Australian mining engineer. The newspaper acquired new owners, and its current name, 12 years later. For 60 years, the Star was operated by the Fish family. Black Press acquired the Star in May 2003.
