Global TV Montreal is a TV station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada covering entertainment programs and local news.
The TV station was previously owned by Canwest Global Communications Corporation, a major Canadian broadcaster and newspaper publisher. Canwest entered creditor bankruptcy protection in late 2009 leading to the sale of the company's assets. Show Media, a division of Shaw Communications, completed the acquisition of all Canwest broadcasting properties in October 2010.
