Al-Baghdadia is a TV station in Iraq covering general news. Al-Baghdadia TV is an independent Iraqi-owned satellite channel based in Cairo, Egypt. It is considered a Shiite channel of unknown funding, possibly Iranian. During the Iraqi insurgency several prominent journalists with the station were murdered. The station is also known as the employer of Muntadhar al-Zaidi, who threw his shoes at U.S. President George W. Bush during a press conference in December 2008. This TV station is owned by Awn Al Khashlok. The web site is presented in the Arabic language.
