Il Popolo d'Italia is a daily newspaper in Milan, Italy covering local politics and government.
Il Popolo d'Italia, which is Italian for "The People of Italy," began publication in 1914, founded by Benito Mussolini when he split from the Italian Socialist Party. In 1945 it was closed, but reopened in 1998 by Giuseppe Martorana, with the intention of continuing its historical tradition.
