Jamaica Observer is a newspaper in Jamaica covering general news. The Jamaica Observer began publishing in January 1993 as a direct competitor to Jamaica's oldest daily paper, The Gleaner. The Observer was initially a weekly publication, then in 1994 became a daily. This newspaper is owned by Butch Stewart. The web site is presented in the English language.
