New Light of Myanmar is a Burma (Myanmar) newspaper covering general news. The New Light of Myanmar, formerly The New Light of Burma, is a government owned newspaper published by the Ministry of Information and based in Yangon. The paper was originally established in 1914 and is the longest running newspaper in Myanmar. The majority of the domestic news articles come from the state run Myanmar News Agency (MNA) and the international articles come from censored news sources outside of Myanmar. This newspaper is owned by Myanmar government. The web site is presented in the German, English, French, and Burmese languages.
