Canal de las Estrellas (XEW TV 2) is a TV station in Mexico City, Mexico covering entertainment programs and local news. Canal de las Estrellas (Channel of the Stars), XEW-TV channel 2 analog and channel 48 digital HDTV is a television channel serving Mexico. It is one of the cornerstone stations of Televisa, with affiliate stations all over Mexico. It is also transmitted throughout Central and South America on satellite, as well as in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Many of the programs of El Canal de las Estrellas are seen in the United States on Univision, Telefutura, and Galavisión. It is one of Televisa's oldest stations, founded in 1951 as part of Telesistema Mexicano. This TV station is owned by Televisa S.A. de C.V.. The web site is presented in the Spanish language.
