Notimex (Mexican News Agency) is a news agency in Mexico City, Mexico covering local news, sports, business, jobs, and community events. Notimex, Agencia de noticias del estado Mexicano (agency of the news of the Mexican state), was created in August 1968 as a service of the federal government of Mexico. Notimex is a news agency providing news and information about Mexico and the Mexican government. Its news stories can be seen in print throughout the country, heard and seen via the radio or TV and viewed online. Each day it reaches 230 news organizations in Mexico and 128 in the rest of the world. The web site is presented in the Spanish language.
