TV Azteca is a TV station in Mexico City, Mexico covering entertainment programs and local news. TV Azteca is one of the largest Mexican television networks. It was established in 1983 as the state-owned Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión, and privatized in 1993. The network operates two stations in Mexico: XHDF ("Azteca 13") and XHIMT ("Azteca 7"). It also operates digital television stations Azteca 24 HD (XHIMT-DT) and Azteca 25 HD (XHDF-DT). TV Azteca also operates the Azteca America network in the United States. This TV station is owned by Television Azteca, S.A. De C.V.. The web site is presented in the Spanish language.

Grupo Salinas companies include TV Azteca, Azteca America, Grupo Elektra, Banco Azteca, Afore Azteca, Seguros Azteca, and Grupo Iusacell.
Each of the Grupo Salinas companies operates independently with its own management, board of directors and shareholders.
