New Zealand National Music School Opponents Deny Foul Play

The Christchurch (New Zealand) Press reported on February 5, 2010:

"Opponents of a proposed national music school in Christchurch have denied any involvement in Arts Centre information leaks.

Save Our Arts Centre (Soac) wants the Arts Centre to release the findings of a private investigator who was brought in to find the source of the information leaks.

The Arts Centre said the leaked information was used in Soac's legal action to oppose the school.

Arts Centre director Ken Franklin said this week that the investigator found evidence of emails being hacked and that fears of being bugged had led the trust to change a meeting venue at the last minute.

Franklin said a former member and a current member of the centre's trust board were implicated in the leaks because they had not co-operated with the investigation."
