Komsomolskaya Pravda is a daily newspaper in Moscow, Russia covering local news, sports, business, jobs, and community events.
Komsomolskaya Pravda ("Komsomol Truth Newspaper" in English) is a Russian tabloid newspaper that began publication in 1925 as the official organ of the Central Committee of the Komsomol. The Komsomol, or Communist Union of Youth, was the youth wing of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union on December 1, 1990, the newspaper dropped its political affiliation and became a national Russian daily newspaper, and is now one of the top selling newspapers in the country.
Along with the national Russian edition of Komsomolskaya Pravda, the newspaper publishes regional editions in a number of former Soviet bloc countries including Komsomolskaya Pravda Ukraine, Komsomolskaya Pravda Belarus, Komsomolskaya Pravda Moldova, and Komsomolskaya Pravda Kyrgyzstan.
