Pravda is a newspaper in Moscow, Russia covering local news, sports, business, jobs, and community events. Pravda, Russian for "The Truth", was a leading newspaper of the Soviet Union. It ceased publishing in 1991, shutting down less than a year before its 80th anniversary. There is an unrelated Internet based newspaper, Pravda Online run by former Pravda newspaper employees. A number of other newspapers have also been called Pravda, most notably Komsomolskaya Pravda, formerly the official newspaper of the now defunct Komsomol and currently the best selling tabloid in Russia.
