The Coventry Evening Telegraph began publication in 1891 as Coventry's first daily newspaper. From Monday 2 October 2006 the publication changed from an evening paper to a morning paper. The newspaper is now available at 6 a.m. along with all other daily newspapers. To reflect this change, the newspaper's name has changed to simply "Coventry Telegraph".
