WSST TV 51
WSST TV 51 is a TV station in Cordele, Georgia, USA covering entertainment programs and local news.
WSST TV 55 (now WSST DT 51) began broadcasting over the air in June of 1989 and was preceded by eight years as a cable-only station. It is a locally-owned independent station featuring news and other local programming for the region. The call letters are derived from the first initials of the station's owner, Sunbelt-South Telecommunications. On April 15, 2009, WSST-TV closed down its analog signal on channel 55 and began broadcasting only on digital channel 51. Its digital signal extends 50 miles from its home base of Cordele. The station now calls itself WSST DT 51.
