Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:17pm on Monday, February 23rd, 2009 | February 20, 2009: Dean Miller has been fired from his job as the executive editor of the Post Register.
Publisher Roger Plothow announced the decision this week, and the newspaper published a front-page story on the decision on Thursday. Plothow cited a need to change the direction of the newspaper.
Features sections editor Rob Thornberry and Photo Editor Monte LaOrange have been appointed assistant managing editors and will share oversight of the newsroom. Plothow also says he will take a more active editing role.
Miller was named city editor of the Post Register in 1995 and later promoted to executive editor.
