Rick Kinner Rural Springfield | Posted at 4:03pm on Friday, October 10th, 2008 | This paper, which ranks right about the Shopper, and right below the Enquirer (Enquirer has a better track record of accuracy), leans so far to the left its laughable. I only read it for local news, and then take that with a grain of salt. Springfield really needs a reliable, unbiased newspaper. Sadly, all they have is the SJ-R. The three things it does well are obituaries (if you can afford the per-word fee), and keeping my parakeet crap off the metal cage floor. Oh, wait, thats only two. I stand corrected.
