Dig Baton Rouge

Dig Baton Rouge is a newspaper in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA covering university news, education, sports, and campus events.

Dig, formerly known as Tiger Weekly, is an independently owned student alt-weekly newspaper published and distributed on the campus of Louisiana State University and around the city of Baton Rouge. The publication was founded in 1997 by then-undergraduate student Wayne Lewis, who set out to create his own student newspaper. The content of Tiger Weekly is a mix of community and campus news, local sports and entertainment, the majority of which is produced by students of LSU. The daily operations of the paper, such as sales and graphic design, are handled by a full-time staff. The name change from Tiger Weekly to Dig was intended to signal the newspaper's intention to cover the entire city of Baton Rouge.
