For District 31
House of Delegates
It has been several years, since the people of Maryland voted to legalize slots.
Let me be clear, I do not know any owners of any race track! The point I am making is this!
The elected officials failed to comply to the demands of the Maryland citizens.
Health care needs are getting more expensive, and the state cannot afford higher taxes to resolve this issue.
If elected, I will not only fight to get this issue resolved. I will also push for river boat gambling, and off track betting for our Maryland race tracks.
With the proceeds that the state will collect, from all three, going to offset the health care needs of our citizens. This could reduce the potential tax increase to meet our States future demands, with regard to health care cost.
The American people have had to deal with higher fees and interest rates on their credit cards. We here in the 31st district and everyone within our State, have had the Burdon to fund these Wall Street financial institutions with Billions of dollars.
There are many states within our union that set the maximum rate of interest of any given credit card. I will push to limit any credit card interest rate, to be no more then ten percent.
The housing issue!
This is what started the financial mess we are in. This caused a downward spiral of our economy. Thousands of jobs were lost! Revenue for business in our state slumped to an all time low. Thus causing thousands in our state to became bankrupt. Causing them to file for chapter 7 and 13. Including myself and daughter! This became the last straw for me, as to why I am running for office. I will fight to end the ARM ( Adjustable rate mortgage ) in the state of Maryland.
When I was younger, I went to Laurel High and Meade Sr. High School. Back then we had Auto mechanics, heating and AC, and electrical classes in High School. Not all students, for whatever reason will go to college. Thus we need to bring these trades training classes, back into high school.
I at this time have not filed for my intent to run at this time. I am seeking out citizens to join my campaign. Upon the arrival of my team! I will file. Those who are interested please contact me at
