Dig Boston began publishing in 1999 as The Weekly Dig. The entertainment magazine is distributed free of charge to over 1,300 destinations in the greater Boston area each Wednesday. The Dig claims to have "an absolute lock on the 21-34 year-old demographic. " Average weekly circulation is estimated to be 40,000.
Dig Boston stopped publishing in June 2023.
This publication is a member of the Association of Alternative Newsmedia (AAN). AAN is a group of newspapers and magazines providing journalism that offers an alternative to the mainstream media in the area.
