WMBR FM 88.1 is a radio station in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA covering local music entertainment.

WMBR is the MIT campus radio station, broadcasting at 720 watts from the top of the Eastgate Building in Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. WMBR is a non-commercial, all volunteer radio station. The majority of WMBRs funding comes from listener donations with additional support from MIT. Station programming includes a wide range of music shows, including hip-hop, classical, punk rock, jazz, blues and celtic fiddle tunes.The offices and studios of WMBR are located in the basement of the Walker Memorial Building at 142 Memorial Drive, which is the source of the call letters (“Walker Memorial Basement Radio").

This radio station is owned by Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
