Berkshire Living covered people, events and culture in the southwest region of Massachusetts. In February 2011, Today Media acquired the magazine from Berkshire Living, LLC and announced plans to relaunch the title. As part of the deal, Today also acquired BBQ: Berkshire Business Q. On May 8, 2011, founder and publisher Michael Zivyak announced in a farewell note to readers that the magazine would cease publication.
