I hardly ever watch the station but can kinda see what you mean, it really bugs you. What news source(s) do you usually watch/listen to? I hope you see this comment...

I have never seen a worse news operation than the one at Channel 8. They have forgotten what their jobs are: To deliver the news. Instead, we are subjected to endless self-promotion about how wonderful they are. It's total B.S. when they come on at 7:15 to tell you that they have some spectacular teaser of a news story, but they want to make you wait until 11:15 to actually hear what it is. In my opinion, that's not getting the news to me first!

And God forbid the skies be anything but blue as half of their weather team, led by that nasty old curmudgeon, Craig James, comes on and interrupts regular programming because we've had a trace of snow that apparently is causing a local emergency or there was a breeze that exceeded 15 mph and Aunt Fanny's trailer might blow away!

I am not the only one who is sick to death of their over-reaction regarding local news and weather. I hear this everywhere I go. I don't even have to start the discussion!

The real frosting on the cake is how their news entertainers sit there reading the news and the station interrupts ITSELF to report Breaking News that's 24 hours old!!! I mean, WTF????

Their command of the English language, vocabulary, spelling, and grammar is that of a ten year old child. It must be horribly embarrassing to have to work there.

Don't get me started on Suzanne Gehahahaha...
