Published since 1993, The Mississippi Link offers news, opinion and sports for the Jackson area. The Link was founded by Socrates Garrett, and started as a monthly magazine called Today's Mississippi covering the black business community. In 1993, Garrett began publishing a semi-monthly tabloid newspaper called The Missing Link, and in 1995 the name was changed to The Mississippi Link. The newspaper covers the black community to keep its readers connected to what is happening across the state. The web site is presented in the English language.
