shevone2008@hotmail.com bellingham, wa, usa | Posted at 9:30am on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 | I don't understand the "easier" navigation!! How on earth do I find the Billings Gazette to just read like a newspaper?? I am not interested in reading every newspaper in the country. How do I get INTO THE ACTUAL BILLINGS GAZETTE?

Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 4:32pm on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 | The Billings Gazette launched a new look and feel for the newspaper's web site on July 1, 2009. Editor Steve Prosinski said the redesign is intended "to deliver news and advertising in ways to better meet the needs of our readers."
He added: "One goal of our new design is to make navigation easier. We have simplified our presentation and made the site wider. The new content management system that we introduce today allows us to do a better job of packaging stories, photos, videos and other online extras with each story.
Our changes will also allow us to keep all our comment threads intact. On the old site, we had to republish stories each day, leading to duplication and loss of some comments. We are now on a continuous publishing cycle, which allows us to post our news in a more efficient way."
