I see both sides of this dialogue that started over a year ago, but thats ok. As a local the paper does its job, though I was directed onto Mondo Times to find the Philipsburg Mail's web site and info but they aparently do not have a web site! Vlad obviously hasn't read the paper in the last year since I started paying attention. I'd say it's the best newspaper of its size I've seen in Montana. As for AP stories, I haven't come across a single one...ever. James is right, when is there even reason for the AP to get into Granite County, maybe once a year? Posted by Joe, Seattle, June 12, 2008
While the Mail does at times vary in quality, overall I find the newspaper to
be very informative and well suited to the communities needs.
I find it interesting that the newspaper would be accused of 'ripping-off' the associated press when almost all content is generated by the staff to cover Granite County...
While living in Philipsburg the past four years before returning home to my
country I became to thoroughly be disgusted in the Philipsburg Mail.
The people who work at this establishment appear to have the education of a second grade kid.
