Seacoast Resident Chronicles Work With Victims Of Nepalese Sex Trade Industries, the Hampton Union reported on December 1, 2009:

"I had tried to familiarize myself with the political situation in Nepal before arriving in the country, but trying to understand the complex political history of Nepal was more complicated than I had expected.

"Why bother?" One of my Nepali colleagues replied when I asked her opinion. "There is so much nepotism, so much corruption, things will never change."

Today, I walked down the road past the endless international aid agencies; past the excited youth in red headbands and red flags chanting Maoist slogans on the blockaded street; past the bundle of 10 filthy, freezing 10-year-old street boys huffing glue wrapped in newspaper; and into the Internet café to write this article.

As I stared at the blinking cursor on the empty screen, the only words that came to me were the ones uttered to me by Nepalese people everyday.

"What to do?"
