KRWG-FM is New Mexico's oldest radio station dating back to 1922. It covers southeastern New Mexico and nearby El Paso, Texas. The station is licensed to the Regents of New Mexico State University Las Cruces.
The call letters RWG are the initials for Ralph Willis Goddard an educator and pioneer broadcaster in Las Cruces. Goddard was an instructor at the college and founded KOB AM the radio station that would later be KKOB in Albuquerque.
This radio station is owned by New Mexico State University.
