KMOT TV 10 is an affiliate of the NBC Television Network.
KMOT TV 10 began broadcasting on February 6, 1957. The station was sold to the Meyer family of Bismarck. The Meyers sold off their broadcast holdings to Sunrise Television in 1997. In 2002, Sunrise sold its North Dakota stations to the Wicks Group of New York City. Hoak Media bought all of Wicks' television stations, including KMOT, in July 2006. The sale was approved by the FCC on November 17, 2006.
