The Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune is a family-owned newspaper serving Wood County, Ohio. The newspaper was founded in 1906 as the Daily Sentinel-Tribune, when The Sentinel and The Tribune merged. The Sentinel was founded on February 22, 1867 and became a daily newspaper in 1890. The Tribune was founded in 1892. The Haswell family has been involved in the operation of the Sentinel-Tribune since 1899, when Alfred Haswell purchased a one-third interest in The Sentinel and became general manager of the paper.
