WCPN FM 104.9

WCPN FM 104.9 is a public radio station in Cleveland, Ohio that repeats the signal of sister station WKSU FM 89.7 in Cleveland. Both stations are operated by Ideastream Public Media, a non-profit public service organization formed in December 2001 from the merger of WCPN with public television station WVIZ TV 25.

WCPN was the primary NPR news station in Cleveland until 2022, when it changed frequency from 90.3 to 104.9 and was replaced by WKSU as the city's NPR news service.

Classical music radio station WCLV FM 90.3 became part of ideastream on January 1, 2013.

This radio station is owned by Ideastream Public Media.

WCPN 90.3 sometimes offers great talk about world news and national. I like that its not spun as conservative or super liberal, I'm sick of that.
