Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:33pm on Thursday, August 20th, 2009 | The Sun News has a new editor and assistant editor, the newspaper reported on August 10, 2009:
"Several new faces are joining the staff of the News Sun this week, including editor Joe Yachanin, assistant editor Jarrod Zickefoose and staff writers Susan Ketchum, who will cover Middleburg Heights, and Ken Baka, who will cover Brook Park.

Yachanin started his journalism career with the Sun News in 2000 as a reporter for the News Sun and the Parma Sun Post.
He was promoted to assistant editor of Sun's former Metro group of papers in 2003, and then to editor of the Garfield-Maple Sun in 2005. In 2007 Yachanin became editor of the Parma Sun Post, and this week becomes editor of the News Sun. Editor Linda Kramer is retiring.

Assistant editor Jarrod Zickefoose has worked as a reporter and editor for Sun News for more than eight years. He previously was the Sun Life section editor for the chain and will continue to oversee the Sun Life sections for the Parma Sun Post and the News Sun.
