Daily Pennsylvanian is a daily newspaper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA covering university news, education, sports, and campus events.
The newspaper is published five days a week, Monday through Friday.
The Daily Pennsylvanian began publication in 1885, under the name The Pennsylvanian. The paper has been published daily since 1894. In 1962 the paper broke away from the student government and became independent. At the same time, it merged with the Pennsylvania News, the university's women's newspaper.
