KTFN TV 65 began broadcasting in 1991 as KJLF, an English-language Christian themed station. Entravision acquired the station in 2001 and converted it into an affiliate of the TeleFutura Network. The station changed the call sign to KTFN (representing "TeleFutura Network") on January 29, 2002.
