KLST TV 8 is a TV station in San Angelo, Texas, USA airing CBS network programs, local news and weather.
The station is an affiliate of the CBS Television Network.
KLST TV 8 is the CBS affiliate in San Angelo, located in the Concho Valley of West Texas. The station also operates KSAN TV 3, the NBC affiliate owned by Mission Broadcasting, and the two stations share studios, staff, news reporting and a website. David Wagner replaced Kathy Munoz as the news director of KLST in August 2011.
KLST began broadcasting on June 23, 1953 as KTXL. In 1957, the station changed its call sign to KCTV and again, in 1983, to KLST. KCTV was subsequently assigned to KCTV TV 5 in Kansas City, Missouri. Nexstar Broadcasting acquired KLST in 2004 from the Jewell Television Corporation.

Texas Police Searching For Suspect Who Shot at San Angelo Police Officer
