KYTX TV 19 began broadcasting on September 1, 1991 as KLSB-TV. Max Media purchased the station in 2003. The call letters were changed to KYTX on April 12, 2004. On October 18, 2007, the station was sold to Terry London and Sun TX Capital Partners through London Broadcasting Company, Inc.
