County Grant Breathes New Life Into Burlington Historical Society

The Burlington Standard Press reported on December 27, 2009:

"It's been a long process for the building, which closed for renovations in June 2007. President of the Historical Society Board, Dennis Tully, said the original plan was to close the building for about a year - then bureaucracy set in.

Now, though, the project is nearing fruition. In early December, the society received a $40,000 grant from Racine County to go toward the renovation fund. All told, Tully said the project has cost a little more than $100,000."
