Capital Times is a daily newspaper in Madison, Wisconsin, USA covering general news. The Capital Times was founded as an afternoon daily newspaper in 1917. In April 2008 the newspaper stopped publishing daily print editions. It will put out two weekly tabloid editions instead. The Capital Times will continue to produce a free web-based daily newspaper. There will also be a free weekly news and opinion tabloid edition and an arts and entertainment section that will be distributed with the Wisconsin State Journal. This newspaper is owned by Capital Newspapers. The web site is presented in the English language.
