The Alameda Times-Star was a newspaper in Alameda, California, USA covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.
In the 1930s, two local papers in Alameda -- The Times and The Star -- combined as the Alameda Times-Star. Under the ownership of the Abe Kofman family, the Times-Star thrived until selling to the Alameda Newspaper Group in the 1970s. The Times-Star was bought by MediaNews Group in 1986. On October 27, 2011, MediaNews announced that the Times-Star would become part of the Oakland Tribune.

Martin Reynolds was the editor of the Alameda Times-Star when the newspaper was incorporated into the Oakland Tribune in 2011.
