Hoy Los Angeles, the free Spanish-language tabloid newspaper which has been published daily, is moving to weekly publication, the Los Angeles Times Media Group announced in March 2009. They did not say on which day the paper will now be published, or when the change will happen. Hoy also publishes free newspaper Fin De Semana on Saturdays. That paper is delivered free to about 500,000 households. Hoy Los Angeles competes with La Opinion, a paid newspaper published seven days a week which is owned by impreMedia LLC.
