Laramie Wyoming local news media
Laramie is the county seat of Albany County, Wyoming. It is home to the University of Wyoming and Wyoming Technical Institute. The city was the site of gay student Matthew Shepard's murder in 1998. The murder and the town's reaction to it became the subject of the acclaimed play, The Laramie Project, and the film of the same name.
