Charlie Sheen's Wife Thought She "Was Going To Die," The Aspen Daily News reported on December 29, 2009:

"Charlie Sheen’s wife told Aspen police her famous husband grabbed her by the upper neck in one hand, put a knife to her throat with the other, and threatened her life.

Brooke Mueller Sheen claims the “Two and a Half Men” star grew enraged when she told him early Christmas morning that she wanted a divorce and custody of their 9-month-old twin boys, according to an affidavit for warrant-less arrest released Monday.

Mueller told Aspen police that Sheen was straddling her on a bed in a rented West End home where they were staying over the holidays when the fight occurred, and that he told her: “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you. Your mother’s money means nothing, I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace,” according to the affidavit."
