The Willimantic (Conn.) Chronicle will let you see the contents of its paper each day at 4 p.m. eastern time -- if you plunk down a 75 cent per edition e-payment, or subscribe to the service for about $16 per month.

Would-be readers can also buy "tokens," at the rate of $3.75 for 5, to purchase individual newspapers, "one at a time, whenever you want."
