WTTA TV 38 began broadcasting as WSUN in 1953 and is Tampa Bay's oldest TV station. Prior to September 2006, it was affiliated with the WB television network. WTTA does not produce its own newscast and instead broadcasts news from NBC WFLA Channel 8.
