Nic Grobbelaar Carletonville Gauteng | Posted at 7:04am on Friday, March 28th, 2008 | Your News editor for the above 'RAG' printed a "april Fools" story in the so called news paper, only at the end did it say 'Written : April Fuhl'
The "News" stated that the local Graveyard was to be moved to a local township and the township moved to the graveyard. A fee of R10000 rand had to be paid to relocate the grave or all the bodies would be dumped in a communial grave. In the political climate of RSA this is not only a sick joke but 1 that will, HAS, incited racial conflict. This story is the talk of the town and many people are very upset. Especially the older people who have not read the whole artical or do not see that April Fuhl is actualy April Fool.
I tried to speak to the editor of the rag, a Magda Martins, and said to her that it is a very sick and poor joke, Her comment was " Well it would seem so!" She showed no signs of been sorry. I have tried to contact Mr. Thys Foord the senior Manager, but everytime I try contact him he is either at "lunch', or "on leave' Or out. all in a space of 30 minutes. The same when I tried to Contact Mr Hennie Stander, Editor. I know of several people have all ready started legal action
