Elle France is a France magazine covering Fashion.
Elle ("She" in English) is the world's largest fashion and beauty magazine, with 39 international editions in 60 countries. The magazine has been published in France since 1945, where it was founded by Pierre Lazareff and his wife Hélène Gordon. The American edition of Elle magazine was launched after Daniel Filipacchi and Jean-Luc Lagardère purchased Hachette magazines in 1981. Today Elle is owned by Lagardere Active, a unit of Lagardère Group, a French industrial conglomerate. The American edition of Elle is published by Hearst Corporation. Elle is published in Argentina by Grupo Clarín, in Brazil by Grupo Editora Abril, in Canada by Transcontinental Media, in Mexico by Grupo Editorial Expansión, in Singapore by Mediacorp, and in Germany by Hubert Burda Media.
