London Review of Books is a United Kingdom magazine covering Books & Literature. Founded in 1979, the London Review of Books (LRB) was originally an insert in the New York Review of Books, becoming an independent literary paper in May 1980. Published twice a month, the LRB is dedicated to carrying on the tradition of the English essay, giving its contributors the space and freedom to develop their ideas at length and in depth.
