Huffington Post is a USA web site covering National News.
The Huffington Post (sometimes referred to as HuffPo) is a liberal news and opinion website offering blogs and video coverage. The site was founded by Arianna Huffington and Kenneth Lerer and launched on May 9, 2005. Initially the site focused on news commentary, but quickly expanded into breaking news coverage.
In February 2011, AOL Inc. agreed to buy The Huffington Post for $315M in cash and stock. HuffPo is now part of an AOL division called The Huffington Post Media Group, where Arianna Huffington is president and editor in chief.
