Pacific Standard was established as Miller-McCune magazine in 2008 by Sarah Miller McCune. The title changed to Pacific Standard following publication of the March-April 2012 issue. Published six times a year, the magazine seeks to uncover solutions rather than report on problems, harnessing the latest research and evidence to answer today's questions about education, politics, healthcare, the environment, and the economy.
This magazine is owned by Sara Miller McCune (SAGE Publications).
