Backcountry is a USA magazine covering Winter Sports.

Founded in Arvada, Colorado in 1994, Backcountry magazine covers skiing in the back country. Height of Land publications bought Couloir magazine in April 2007 and merged it with Backcountry magazine. Couloir magazine is no longer published.

This magazine is owned by Height of Land Publications.
