Out is a USA newspaper covering Gay and Lesbian.
The publication that became Out began in March 1973 as a single-page newsletter produced by the year-old Gay Alternatives Pittsburgh. As the newsletter's page count increased, the title changed to Pittsburgh Gay News and a tabloid newspaper format was adopted. In February 1977, PGN released the first issue of Gay Life, a handbill-sized glossy that was revamped in November 1979 to become a magazine called Out. Out has been published in its current tabloid newspaper format since August 1980. Tony Molnar-Strejcek and Ed Molnar-Strejcek acquired Out in November 1994.
This newspaper is owned by Tony and Ed Molnar-Strejcek.
